Midsomer Norton Town Council figures for the budget

Nub News released a report last night which stated, the Town Council had agreed to increase the precept, your council tax by £1.87 per week a total of £97.19 a year.

Midsomer Norton Town Council can confirm that the figures quoted were incorrect and were in fact the total weekly and yearly figures, NOT the increase as stated in the article.

Nub News have now taken down the story and apologised for the error.

The correct figures and the total amount payable will be an increase on last year's precept of 6p per week a total of £2.74 per year which equates to the 2.9%

increase.
