The local Radstock pharmacy has informed Nub News that it will close today for one hour because of demand for prescriptions.

It will be closed from 1-2pm today (Friday March 20) to make up those prescriptions and to keep their work on track.

Clement Pharmacy, on The Street in Radstock, has seen unprecedented demand over the past days. But on social media, they have been praised on Nub News for their hard work and dedication in these difficult times.

They currently have no paracetamol in stock and had already warned customers they were out of face masks and hand gel.

They are also encouraging card payments.

Their current normal opening hours are:

Monday - Friday : 8:30 am until 6pm, Saturdays 9am - 1pm.
