Tucked away on the Westfield industrial site is a company many have never really paid attention to, but one, given the current coronavirus pandemic, is critical to keeping the health service healthy.
No, they do not make tests, but the crucial packaging without which so many procedures, from operations to donating blood and taking samples, could not be carried out safely.
Westfield Medical produces the packaging to keep needles, syringes and even donated organs in a safely sealed sterile package.
It is critical in the supply of medical equipment both to UK suppliers of medical syringes and other equipment, and to medical supply companies overseas.
So the company is doing all it can to continue to work as normal.
If you are going to give blood or have a blood sample taken, the GP or nurse would peel a pouch open to reveal a lovely clean syringe - Westfield Medical make the pouches.
And for that the management have nothing but praise for his 120 staff and the critical local transport company Parker Transport which takes the finished goods away.
Steve Brittain, Production manager for Westfield Medical said: " We want to thank all our staff for making a concerted effort to come in and produce our medical devices for the NHS. I just want to thank all the local businesses who support us like Parkers for the transport and anyone else who brings in all our raw materials.
"Just a big thanks for all of you. As long as we can keep going, we will keep going. "
The company makes all sizes of sterile pouches, big enough for replacement knees, artificial legs ... if you are in surgery, all the equipment needed will be in one of the company's pouches. Their biggest package is around two metres by a metre wide.
