The lovely Jane Teed has over 40 years' experience 'playing with textiles' - from costume making as wardrobe mistress for theatre companies, and clothing construction for design rooms, to lecturing on dressmaking and pattern cutting for BTEC and NCFE fashion courses.

Jane is also a member of the Embroiderers' Guild, and we're delighted she's coming to Rockaway to host this exciting Creative Textiles workshop.

For this one-day session, you'll be playing with fabric in a relaxed environment, where exploration of ideas and experimentation are encouraged.

• Discover how to transfer designs
• Learn about embroidery stitches
• Experience a variety of embellishment techniques
• Learn about Suffolk puffs, Dorset buttons and finishing

Jane will support you throughout the workshop with handy tips to make your sewing experience easier. So, no experience is necessary. At the end of the session, you'll have a piece of unique textile art to take home, plus a source list of resources used in the workshop.
