Nestling into the northern slopes of the Mendip Hills, this 1 acre hillside cottage garden has panoramic views over the Chew Valley. The beautiful colours and scents of spring bulbs and blossom greet visitors to Rose Cottage in April.
The garden is organically gardened, evolving with new planting. Carpeted with narcissi, primroses, hellebores and Magnolias in blossom, bordered by a stream and established mixed hedges encourages wildlife into the garden. There are plenty of seating areas to enjoy tea and cake, listen to the Congresbury Brass Band, whilst admiring panoramic views over Chew Valley.The garden opens By Arrangement for the month of April for groups of up to 30. This means the garden welcomes visitors on pre-agreed dates.
