B&NES has just published the latest coronavirus positive case numbers which show a rise of over 25 per cent.

The figures are for the seven days leading up to August 17.

The numbers were published as the government announced that it has met its target of offering all 16 and 17-year-olds in England a coronavirus vaccine.

More than 360,000 people in this age group in England have now been given a first dose of the vaccine, with the nearest drop in centre for those aged 16-17 to go without having to book, at Bath Racecourse.
