When Bath College closed due to coronavirus, one group were left behind.

These are just some of the animals the College has at the Somer Valley Campus.

They are usually looked after by all the Animal Care and Vet Nursing students.

Although the college say they are enjoying some quiet time- and of course they are kept healthy and well by a team of teachers - they are said to be missing the students.

Some do have a job even without the students there.

The cockatiel is actually sitting on some quail eggs to help them hatch.

These are just a few of the 200 animals at Bath College for the Animal Care and Veterinary Nursing students to look after. They are being looked after by staff at the moment.

Some may have been rescued - but many will be born there such as the resident goat herd. There is also a cattery on campus run by Frome Cats Protection for rescued cats.
