There is now a full planning statement in for the application to build nine homes on land at Silver Street, Midsomer Norton. This application is a resubmission of an application which was withdrawn in October last year. There are details on how the development will look along with plans regarding a new access road onto Silver Street. Within the document (posted under reference 21/01656/OUT) there are notes for the other plan for that area of Midsomer ; to the south east of the site 164 dwellings have approved and are currently under construction. Reference: 13/00127/OUT. A decision is still pending a total of 45 new homes on land to the south of the approved care home being planned (under application 18/02095/).
At 26 Ivy Walk, in Midsomer Norton, the homeowners have applied to build a new single storey extension to the rear of the existing property to create new utility room. Reference 21/01813/CLPU.
And also in Midsomer an application is in for tree works on the verge between Priory Close and Church Lane. Under application 21/01804/TCA, they want to cut back one Black Pine by removing two lower limbs ( which are overhanging B3355), to fell another Black Pine and to thin the crown of a Horse Chestnut, also overhanging the road.
An application has been put in at 12 Kilmersdon Road, in Radstock, (reference 21/01883/HPD) for prior approval for a single storey rear extension.

At 1 Royal Oak Cottages, in Old Mills, in Paulton, (under reference
21/01046/FUL) an application for a first floor side extension has been permitted. There is a split decision on discharging two conditions on an application at Cleeves Cottage, Gassons, in Peasedown St. John. The decision on 21/00127/COND is on the application 19/03190/FUL, which is for a partial change of use from a garage/workshop (B2) to a residential home. (C3).
