In planning news in and around Radstock this week.

An application has been put in at 12 Kilmersdon Road, in Radstock, (reference 21/01883/HPD) for prior approval for a single storey rear extension.

They have also applied for prior approval for a single storey rear extension at 16 Fosseway, in Westfield. (That's under 21/01861/HPD)

At 26 Ivy Walk, in Midsomer Norton, the homeowners have applied to build a new single storey extension to the rear of the existing property to create new utility room. Reference 21/01813/CLPU.

And also in Midsomer an application is in for tree works on the verge between Priory Close and Church Lane. Under application 21/01804/TCA, they want to cut back one Black Pine by removing two lower limbs ( which are overhanging B3355), to fell another Black Pine and to thin the crown of a Horse Chestnut, also overhanging the road.

In Paulton a planning application is in at 5 The Mead, (under reference

21/01809/FUL) to build a new detached garage.

Planning decisions made by B&NES this week include:

Planners have ruled that an application at 16 Glebelands, in Westfield,

21/01370/CLPU, to convert the loft at the property and install a rear dormer and rooflights, is lawful.

At 1 Royal Oak Cottages, in Old Mills, in Paulton, (under reference

21/01046/FUL) an application for a first floor side extension has been permitted.

The application for 26 homes up at the yard on Bath Old Road in Radstock has cleared another hurdle with a ruling that there is no objection to the proposed tree removals on the site, subject to mitigation planting as illustrated in the submitted landscape plan. Details on that application can be followed under Planning Application Reference: 21/01122/RES.

There is a split decision on discharging two conditions on an application at Cleeves Cottage, Gassons, in Peasedown St. John. The decision on 21/00127/COND is on the application 19/03190/FUL, which is for a partial change of use from a garage/workshop (B2) to a residential home. (C3).

An application for a temporary mobile home for a worker at the stables and exercise yard on Old Lime Kiln Farm, on Radford Hill, in Timsbury, has been withdrawn.
