Thatcher + Hallam community sponsors of Radstock museum now sponsors local radio station Somer Valley FM

Thatcher + Hallam is delighted to announce it is a new sponsor of the community radio station, and close neighbour, Somer Valley FM. The local solicitors is sponsor of the weekday Brunch Show, which airs from 10am - 12pm every day. Somer Valley Community Radio is a registered charity and the support of organisations, such as Thatcher + Hallam, is vital in ensuring it can continue to broadcast and provide a service to the local community.

William Weller, Managing Partner at Thatcher + Hallam said, "We're looking forward to working alongside Somer Valley FM. We share a commitment to supporting local and working closely with the community that we are based in, so this new relationship makes perfect sense to us."

Nicola Cretney, Marketing and Communications Lead at Thatcher + Hallam said, "Local radio is a vital resource to many people and gained more and more listeners during the pandemic, when people really wanted a more personal, local connection with what was happening around them. It's exciting for us to be branching out into this form of media and we're looking forward to sharing news of our services and the other work we do in this new way."

Somer Valley FM Station Manager, Richard Burgess, said "I am so happy Thatcher + Hallam are supporting us as one of our main sponsors. Since I became Station Manager, I've wanted a relationship with our leading law firm. Their continued investment in local charities, such as the Farmers Market and Coalfield Museum, reflects Thatcher + Hallam's support for our communities. We are a not-for-profit local radio station, here to support and entertain our local listeners, so financial support is vital for us to operate. And Thatcher + Hallam join at a great time for us; recent recorded listening figures are at record highs"

Somer Valley FM is the local radio station for North East Somerset and is based in Midsomer Norton. It broadcasts around 14-15 hours of new, locally generated content every day, focused on a variety of genres and interests.
