Radstock Nub News is constantly seeking ways to provide you with the best local news service, which is online and deals solely with Radstock - 'your town in your pocket'.

This regular feature will inform you of events happening in Radstock and the surrounding area in the upcoming week.

Below is a list of events happening in Radstock and the surrounding area in the coming week.

Tomorrow Radstock Town Council's Finance and General Purposes Committee will meet in the Vestry, Radstock Methodist Church Hall from 9.30. The public is welcome to attend.

Next Tuesday from 10 am at Radstock Library and Community Hub, the Silent Book Club. What an interesting idea, described as a book club for introverts, more details from the Community Hub.

At Radstock's Working Men's Club also on March 17, a talk entitled Science in Radstock. At 7.30pm, entitled ' From submarine detection to baby scanning' learn more about ultrasound from Dr Francis Duck.

And a date for your diary; March 21. The big Spring Clean is coming to Radstock, details from Radstock in Bloom.
