What a smashing idea : Excuse the pun - a call out to High Street businesses

Calling all businesses in and around Midsomer Norton High Street.

A special pumpkin-spotting trail is being set up around town with a vote for the best autumn-themed window display.

Organisers would like as many shops, services and spaces to get involved as possible.

The idea is to put on your best display on the theme of Autumn, Harvest or Halloween during October. You can either display a carved, drawn or printed pumpkin in your business or in the window.

There will be maps produced of the shops participating and these will be available from the foyer of Magpie Vintage & Celia's Place with a small £1 donation given to charity.

The map will contain a checklist and voting form and each completed checklist handed in at Magpie or Celia's will get a small gift.

There will be a Facebook page dedicated to the event where the public can find information, maps, donate and vote.

Organiser Kelly said: " We need something positive and fun at the moment and hopefully bring us more customers."

If you would like more details or to register your participation please either pop in to Magpie at 112 High Street, email [email protected], text 07736564296, phone 01761 402428.
